CEC is pleased to announce Steve Cain, P.E., has moved into the role of Office Lead for CEC Bridgeport. Steve began his new role on Sept. 1, taking over the position from Dennis Miller, P.S., who has led the office since 2012.
Steve is a Vice President who has been with CEC for 7 years and has 29 years of experience in consulting in West Virginia and neighboring states. He most recently served as the Civil Practice Lead for the Bridgeport office and was also instrumental in laying the groundwork for the establishment of CEC’s new Martinsburg, West Virginia, office location.
“It is extremely exciting to have the opportunity to head an office that’s been so successful. I look forward to the continued mentoring of the young talent at CEC, as well as leading the Bridgeport office with continued growth,” Steve says.
He’s been getting settled into his new role and looks forward to the operational and budgeting duties that go along with it. “It’s just really a fantastic opportunity for me to be a key part of a great office and wonderful company.”
Joseph D. Robinson, P.E., is the new Civil Practice Lead in the Bridgeport office. Joseph has been a fixture in the Civil Practice in Bridgeport since 2014 and has played a critical role working alongside Steve in building the practice.
“My initiative as an engineer has always been to better the infrastructure of West Virginia, with CEC we are working toward that goal,” Joseph says. In his new position, he looks ahead to building the technical IQ of the group in Bridgeport. “We are focused on sharing the collective experience and knowledge throughout the entire group.”
We thank Dennis for his work in building our business in Bridgeport and his continued direction of several large and complex projects beyond West Virginia. Once those assignments are complete, Dennis will be assuming a corporate leadership role.
