CEC Bridgeport is focused on expanding CEC’s presence in West Virginia. CEC selected Bridgeport to become the West Virginia office based on the growth in the region and the approximation to the major development in north central West Virginia. Since opening in 2012 with two employees, we’ve been the fastest-growing West Virginia consulting firm. We now have over 100 employees to meet the needs of our clients, and we’ve done this by hiring the best talent and most driven professionals with proven track records in their industries. Our services have grown to include civil engineering, construction inspection, ecological sciences, environmental engineering and sciences, geotechnical engineering, landscape architecture, road/bridge design, stream restoration, survey and LiDAR mapping, and water resources. In May of 2021, we moved to a larger space in Charles Pointe due to our continued growth in the region.

CEC is ranked #2 in West Virginia and #23 overall on the 2023 ENR Mid-Atlantic Top Design Firms list.

CEC is ranked #12 in Industrial Process on the 2023 ENR Mid-Atlantic Top Design Firms list

CEC is ranked #28 in General Building on the 2023 ENR Mid-Atlantic Top Design Firms list

CEC is ranked #30 in Petroleum on the 2023 ENR Mid-Atlantic Top Design Firms list

We embrace the friendly and hardworking culture of West Virginia; we enjoy sporting events and barbecue events with fellow employees and clients, which creates a true family atmosphere. In addition to our WV natives, we have a diverse group of professionals from around the U.S. and six other countries. We participate in community events such as the City of Bridgeport’s Light Up Night and the United Way’s Hot Wing Eating Contest.

Our Culture

CEC Bridgeport loves to give back to many organizations, such as Court Appointed Special Advocates; the Boy Scouts of America; the Cancer Research Classic, which benefits Wheeling Hospital; and the United Way of Harrison County’s Day of Action. We continue to be a major sponsor of the Cheat River Festival. Our team also supports many West Virginia watershed organizations, the West Virginia Council, and Trout Unlimited.
