CEC is pleased to announce the return of Mark Maguire to its Pittsburgh office as Principal and Corporate GIS/Geospatial Practice Lead. A recognized leader in geospatial strategy and technology, Mark has more than 20 years of experience delivering GIS and data management solutions across water resources, environmental, infrastructure, and energy projects.
Mark is a skilled program manager, technical leader, and client service director with deep expertise in the geospatial field. His core strength lies in building GIS platforms and applying spatial technologies to support engineering, environmental, and infrastructure initiatives for private and public sector clients. He has led multidisciplinary teams of GIS specialists, software developers, and field surveyors in the execution of complex projects. Mark has worked in the Esri ArcGIS technology space throughout his career, developing technical expertise and strong business partnerships across Esri and related geospatial platforms, such as Trimble.
Mark will work closely with Terry Wright, CEC’s Survey/Geospatial Lead, to grow the firm’s overall geospatial practice. This work will span the full project lifecycle—from data capture (field surveying and UAVs) to final delivery—enabling clients to better manage, track, and model infrastructure assets over the long term through integrated GIS and survey data.
He will help drive the broader application of geospatial tools and innovative solutions across CEC’s disciplines, markets, and client base, while continuing to strengthen the firm’s established GIS foundation and expert geospatial team.
