CEC Chicago is pleased to welcome Jon Grzywa, P.E., to the team as a Principal in our Civil Engineering practice. Jon is a civil engineering expert with more than 23 years of experience leading complex land development projects across a variety of markets.

Jon brings diverse civil engineering experience supporting commercial, industrial, data center, residential, and national retail and restaurant rollout developments. His expertise spans site design, utility design, stormwater management, permitting coordination, construction support, and entitlement strategy. He has led multidisciplinary teams and managed large-scale development programs requiring coordination across multiple jurisdictions, delivering consistent project execution from concept through construction.

Jon is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois and Wisconsin. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from The Citadel.

The CEC Chicago office, situated in Naperville, currently offers services across Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Since commencing operations in January 2001 with a portfolio centered around environmental projects, we have progressively expanded our presence in the solid waste market sector. By 2012, we enhanced our offerings to include air quality services and strengthened our civil and geotechnical engineering capabilities. In 2018, we launched the office’s survey practice. The acquisition of Roake and Associates, Inc. in December 2018 further enriched our resources and significantly broadened our real estate and land development client base. We also recently added cultural resources to our Chicago service lineup.
