CEC Houston is pleased to welcome Christi Telepak to the team as a Project Manager III in our Waste Management practice. She has more than 20 years of experience in landfill Operations and Maintenance (O&M), groundwater monitoring, toxicity studies, and thermal studies. Christi has performed O&M and compliance services at more than 45 landfills throughout the southern states and has worked with multiple energy developers to maximize the quality and quantity of landfill gas for high BTU consumption.
In Christi’s previous role, she served as an Environmental Manager where she oversaw multiple landfills, hauling operations, and transfer stations. Other responsibilities included planning for all compliance, permitting, and capital-funded projects in addition to managing all aspects of operation, maintenance, and monitoring (OM&M) activities for gas and leachate within the operational budget. She also has experience interacting with regulatory agencies and preparing plans and forecasts for landfills.
Christi has a bachelor’s degree in environmental health sciences from the University of Georgia and is a member of the Solid Waste Association of North America.
