Floodplain Management

Floodplain Management has become an increasingly important responsibility in the federal, state, local, and private sectors. The task of improving flood control and risk management through structural and nonstructural measures as well as improving the water quality for our nation's rivers and streams has been pushed down to the local level. The design community must be able to step up and tackle tough stream and site situations.
